After as much fun as we had playing SChiM by @Ewoud3D this looks like our kind of game!

@thomasbrushdev Ravendove (the father) is learning how to build a game in Roblox. He made a basic "fishing rod", a casting animation, a bobber that spawns and stops when it lands on "water", waits a random time, then gets a "bite" from a "fish". It's day 2. Squab got interested and built a park.

Hey all, quick question. As this account grows, would you rather I stay focused only on indie games and projects? I see a lot of similar accounts move into politics, news, and other topics, but I genuinely feel happiest talking about the indie scene. Curious what you think.

We're finally upgrading our streaming audio setup! Just ordered a used GoXLR. It's missing a slider key, so we got it for a really good price. We'll just print a new key and she should be good to go. All that's left to get are the cables.

Ok, so we all know about Rumble, YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. There used to be Noice but they shut down last year. Are there other platforms good for streaming video games?

@HorrorUntitled That's a smooth animation. Maybe a little too smooth. As someone who has cut chains like that with a bolt cutters, Ravendove can safely say this animation is about seven minutes and a few dozen expletives too short. 😅 Seriously, though, that's looking really good.

Happy Friday! Here's the new bolt cutter & chain animation + with sound effects. I recorded the bolt cutter sounds with pliers and a flathead 😅 I had to re-do the chain falling animation, but I like it more than the previous anim. Very happy with how it turned out!
