@HailStorm_32 @SpaceX Starship has already deployed deliberate near-orbital test payloads (dummy satellites), so the proof of concept is there. Not operational yet, but orbital-class deployment has been demonstrated.

@SpaceX I'm failing to see the reason for this merger. They are two very different companies. Plus, Starship, while massively awesome, hasn't yet deployed a payload into orbit. Also, what's going to happen with Grok's integration with X?

BWOW in the wild

3/3 Expanding into the solar system and beyond feels like our destiny. I always wished I’d lived through the original space race. Now we have a chance to experience that same wonder.

2/3 A space-first push with real goals gives me hope, not just for technology, but for humanity itself. Yes, investing resources in space can mean tradeoffs here on Earth. But in my view, pushing beyond our species’ limits is worth the sacrifice.

1/3 As a kid, like so many others, I dreamed about space, exploration, discovery, and understanding what lies beyond our planet. I don’t have political affiliations or agendas. I simply believe that advancing space exploration matters.
