Was such a pleasure to do a LIVE DEMO of LOWE at the JP Morgan Healthcare conference. As far as I am aware, this was the first time that anyone has done a live software demo in the conference's 42 years. We had the chance to present just a couple of hours before our colleagues at @nvidia take the stage, which I believe is the first time a large technology company will be presenting live in the coveted Monday morning slot. You can feel the shift happening as biopharma increasingly adopts technology tools. And while all of us in TechBio will certainly face obstacles, challenges and failures going forward - that's always part of being in the lead - the future of TechBio just looks more and more inevitable. Check out this video of LOWE to get a tiny peak at what we are doing at @RecursionPharma TODAY, and what we think the entire industry will look like in the coming years... A big shoutout to the team at @RecursionPharma for putting so much work in over the last decade to build what I believe is clearly the leading operating system for drug discovery, and a big thank you to the tireless efforts of the @valence team for bringing LOWE to life to put all that power at all of our fingertips. We can't wait to share more with folks in the coming days. Checkout PB2257 #ASHG22 by #Illumina's @jon_belyeu, @sedlazeck and Baylor U. They show how to estimate total and allele-specific KIV-2 repeat length, which strongly impacts #CVD risk. A challenging genomic region that provides enormous medical insight, coming to #DRAGEN soon.

@quentin54000 Hello! We have options to run directly on AWS with a license from Illumina, or have options for running very cost effectively in a PAYG model on Illumina Connected Analytics. Please reach out for more info.

Or create a smaller aws license. Going directly through aws allows to create more complex pipelines with a dragen part and a part using open source tools. But currently the smallest license is 1,000 wgs, so it's too much

@illumina Do you plan to lower the price of the dragen license on aws marketplace ? For a f1.4xlarge instance it's 15,10$/h knowing that on Basespace the total license + computing infrastructure is 5$/h. Basespace is great but too limited.
