FYI, I know you are all upset & I’m devastated. We’ve tried to mobilize people from all over to get the Senate Dems to do what’s right. In about 30 minutes, I am planning to be disappointed. Please take out your anger, appropriately by sending letters, emails, making calls & supporting primary opposition where appropriate, but please don’t forget that 212 members in the house and probably almost 40 dem senators did the right thing! I get that it’s a group project, but overall, we were far stronger than what it will feel like when a select few, sink us all. Also remember that they have tried to make Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion an awful slur for black people, but NOT one black member in either chamber, faltered. WE are a strong, resilient people who consistently fight for the greater good; and that is why we are feared. -All the Dems who are fighting for the collective!
