@gmanfridge @Smirkley A lot of the gerrymandering in the red states have been carve-outs to comply with VRA mandates to have "black" representation in congress. I look at FLA's new map, I don't see any gerrymandering. TX's new one, very little, at least compared to CA and IL.

@gmanfridge @Smirkley Does Florida's new map look gerrymandered? Or Texas'? Even red states have had to carve out insane looking districts to comply with previous VRA rulings. The "black" district in Louisiana runs from Baton Rouge to Shreveport because federal courts said they had to.
