Off topic! It’s good to be alive! Scaffolding outside my house fell over today and I tried to stop it toppling over, luckily I wasn’t underneath it, or my children weren’t in the driveway! Smashing a few drinks to calm my nerves! Thank you Jesus! 🙏

@CaptSpringbok Honestly feel Libbok is a brilliant player, why not accommodate him by playing him and let Sacha/Willemse focus on kicking duties. Maybe Sacha and Galant could be rotated with Libbok Willemse but definitely just let him cook his natural game and not worry about goalkicking?

Once Willemse is back how is Dobson going to use him, Manie and Sacha? Willemse is best at fullback and Sacha flyhalf. Manie’s kicking is a problem, Sacha needs to be our primary goal kicker. @rugby_ap Dont agree with you, they are held to the same standard. And anyone saying we would be saying something different is lying to themselves. Where i was watching everyone shouted sacha must come on to kick. Pollard had a poor game and sacha should have been on earlier.

Mixed performance from Handre. Showed some nice ambition in attack with some very accurate passing and decision-making. But also - if Manie had that day off the tee and was fended off by Lowe like that we’d be crucifying him.

@Motorsport Axe, it has the cars have quite literally outgrown the track. I don't see the cars being made small enough to fit the track with the current safety specs.

@jaredwright17 @mark_keohane Pundits tend to say we need to give players time etc, in reality we have seen many stars created by playing them young and them learning from their mistakes early. Dan Carter, Steyn. Willemse may not have been considered one of the best if he didnt get a shot in 2019.

Damian Willemse really only came into his own at Test level around 2021-ish, debuted in 2018 and ofcourse no Bok tests in 2020. By 2023, he was crucial to the Springboks. Reminder that Willemse only made the 2019 squad after Jesse’s injury. Sacha is going to be a big player for SA probably not in 2024.

@davidflatman It would be a shame if the springboks were to lose the ball forward when they try and take a quick tap...such a shame 😅

So, could a team with a struggling scrum give away a free kick at a scrum and…not have to scrum again because the opposition can’t choose to?

@CaptSpringbok Manie has done great things in the past but I think we need to look at Mr Feinberg as an option. Manie is running out of chances, I really really hope he can sort himself out. (Rassie won't take another chance on him with his current kicking record)

@SaffasRugby 20 min red, followed by the team allowed to bring on a sub instead of red card player. Fixes the problem of an early red card ruining a competitive game and paying fans get their money's worth in the stadium.

SA Rugby is reportedly in favour of the 20-minute red card. CEO Rian Oberholzer says it spoils the game. What do you think?
