@cperruna In the April, March timeframe, you could make the argument this was basing/ starting to stage 4. How do you hold through this? And please correct any assumptions i made if they’re wrong

$RDDT - $185.26, is actively building a seven month cup shaped base near the 200d ma. A breakout, with or without a handle formation (once the right side completes), likely takes the stock to $250+ A breakdown of the patten means it must reset and threatens a stage 4 pattern with possible lower lows. I am betting on the former. Holding shares

My 8 year old iPhone has been replaced sadly. Apps were taking minutes to load, if they worked at all. Feel like apple does this intentionally to force you to buy a new phone

@HeismanPh @cperruna The stock has been over a double for me, even after the drawdown, since I bought it four years ago around the time that Bill Ackman dumped his stake. I’ll take that “bag”. Have you ever had a drawdown in a stock you own genius?
s77nu@s77nu

@cperruna So sorry, I was off by months. So did the “wokeness” happen at all in the run-up to Netflix going to a $135/share, half trillion dollar market cap company, or was that all in the last twelve months? Use your brain.

I sold $NFLX back in November after holding for years. It's down 31% since the sell and struggling in a stage 4. I do believe it will recover in the future. When, I have no idea. It needs to get creative again and toss the woke programming. No position.

@cperruna I have a wild theory as to why only women in the US care about soccer. Constant flopping, dudes wearing bras, weak game changing penalty kick calls, goal retractions for actions that occurred a minute earlier, red cards for covering your mouth. As of now, soccer’s for girls

Why is the US the best in the world with women's soccer while the men's team can barely compete. The USWNT spent decades with a massive structural advantage. Title IX poured resources into women's sports, the best US female athletes stayed here, elite college programs became a pipeline and most of the world's traditional soccer powers barely invested in the women's game. The US is competing with a huge head start while everyone else is still playing catch-up. The USMNT has the exact opposite challenge. They're competing against countries where soccer is the national sport, kids are in professional academies before they're teenagers, and the talent pool has been developing for over a century. The US loses its best male athletes to the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and other US sports. Comparing the two as if they're on equal footing ignores reality. One program was built with decades of structural advantages. The other is trying to break into the most competitive sport on the planet while starting several steps behind with endless options for other major American sports.

A couple, both age 60, wanted to retire within two years. Their financial picture: •$3.4 million invested •Most retirement assets held in traditional IRAs and 401(k)s •Annual retirement spending goal of $150,000 •Pension beginning at 65 •Social Security planned for age 70 They had accumulated enough wealth to retire comfortably. Taxes - Nearly 80% of their assets were tax-deferred. Left alone, future Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) would likely push them into higher tax brackets, increase Medicare premiums, and leave their children with larger inherited IRA tax bills. So they implemented a multi-year Roth conversion strategy during their lower-income retirement years to reduce future taxes and improve legacy outcomes. Retirement Income Strategy - Rather than simply spending their brokerage account first, they coordinated withdrawals across taxable, tax-deferred, and Roth accounts to improve tax efficiency and preserve flexibility throughout retirement. Investment Strategy - Their portfolio had been built for accumulation not retirement. It was heavily concentrated in large cap U.S. equities after years of market gains. So they diversified the portfolio, reduced concentration risk, established a cash reserve for near-term spending, and aligned the investment strategy with their retirement income needs to reduce sequence-of-returns risk. The Potential Impact: Through coordinated retirement, tax, and investment planning, projections showed the strategy could: •Reduce lifetime taxes •Lower future Medicare premium surcharges •Increase the amount passed to heirs •Improve the sustainability of their retirement income during market volatility The biggest opportunities in retirement often don't come from earning higher returns. They come from coordinating investments, taxes, retirement income, and estate planning into one comprehensive strategy. If you want to build a comprehensive strategy, book an intro call with me today. (Example hypothetical for illustrative purposes only)

.@FIFAcom is already cooked & only solution I can see that doesn't totally mar @USMNT going forward, & diminish what have already accomplished, is if Balogun says "thank you very much, I appreciate the support, but in best interest of my team, I am going to sit out tonight."

America’s ruling class has performed another miracle. They took the most basic truths in human civilization ... crime needs punishment, borders need enforcement, schools should teach, welfare should be temporary, families matter, merit matters, and taxpayers should not be looted by professional parasites ... and somehow rebranded all of that as “extremism.” Incredible work, really. Apparently, a “compassionate” society is one where the violent repeat offender gets another chance, the victim gets a candlelight vigil, the taxpayer gets the bill, the schoolkid gets passed along illiterate, the fraudster gets a grant, the NGO gets another contract, the illegal alien gets services, and the working American gets told to shut up and be more inclusive. What a beautiful system. Soft justice did not stay in the courtroom. It metastasized. It became soft borders, soft schools, soft parenting, soft welfare, soft standards, soft men, and soft bureaucrats explaining why every obvious solution is “too harsh.” Lock up predators? Cruel. Deport illegals? Hateful. End generational welfare? Lacking empathy. Punish fraud? Complicated. Restore merit? Problematic. Teach kids to read? Probably colonialism by Tuesday. A serious country protects the innocent from the guilty. A decaying country protects the guilty from consequences and makes the innocent finance the experiment. That’s America’s real crisis. Not poverty. Not “root causes.” Not another fake expert panel. Consequences. We stopped imposing them on the people destroying the country, so now the country imposes them on everyone else. George Kamel says 40% of people making over $500,000 a year are broke and living paycheck to paycheck "You'd think people who make more money, it's much easier for them. I just saw a Goldman Sachs study. 40% of people who make over $500,000 are paycheck to paycheck" "They overextended themselves, overleveraged, got way too big of a house too soon because now you have to live a $500,000 lifestyle" "Insecure people have the hardest time building wealth because every dollar has to be spent flexing to look rich instead of becoming wealthy"

Just own them all. $QQQI So you win regardless of whatever individual company does. I defended and bought $GOOGL way under 250 and was telling many how the hell can you sell at 150 Bottom line instead of dealing with all the Bs just own the $QQQI and do your thing.

$QQQI wasn't around then but $JEPQ was. Here is $JEPQ vs $QQQ since the JEPQ inception date: May 3, 2022 126.9% vs 85.10% In other words, $10k in each, including yield payouts: $QQQ: $22,690 $JEPQ: $18,510 These vehicles give the illusion of paying huge dividends but they underperform over time for the investor and provide larger fees for the Wall Street. As another X user, John, said, "The providers of these funds basically use it as a marketing gimmick to exploit unsophisticated investors."
