Yes. Britain is heading towards curfews, military on the streets and internet lockdowns. It just depends which flavour does it. The left will continue with the same mad policies of admitting more migrants, net zero, bloated welfare and the islamification of the country. The right, hopefully, will start reversing some of the most harmful policies that led the country to where it is.

So forgive my scepticism but NO party will scrap it. It’s too important for control and data, as society gets poorer and angrier.
Think about it, if Reform gets into power the progressives will blow up about massive welfare cuts and deportations. They will take to the streets in ‘justified’ morality. Censorship of information and speech will be important to ‘keep the peace and keep people safe’.
If Labour/ coalition get into power they will also need to suppress those who disagree with their globalist policies and it will be important to ‘keep the peace and keep people safe’
So forgive my cynicism but I think all parties will use whatever tools at their disposal to suppress Citizens’ dissent. It will become the easiest way of shutting down the opposition and the best way of keeping control.
