@jakebeleafs Where are you shopping? I look for the cheapest I can find. Eggs don't cost that much if you look around. I can get them for $3-5 a dozen still (non GMO brown shell). I got mostly meat. It's expensive but I filled my cart yesterday for $160. No bread or snacks. At ALDI its $130.

This cost me $32. Like this is a massive problem

My brother is also adopted, and even in our small family we still experience this in dramatically different ways. It's a lonely thing when you know that even your own sibling has the same trauma as you and yet not at all.

Everyone in my triad is good, kind and the situation was fully consensual. But I will say that it is a unique and difficult trauma; one I still don't understand, despite years of effort. It haunts, touches you.

@toastedtoad @SickSadSamantha @Austinelsayeed @ellle_em the adoption is well and over. adoptees look for their biological family in everything. even the fact that they look at their “family” and see that there’s no genetic mirroring anywhere. even people who were the case of happy adoptions will verify this
