Herewith my 'The Odyssey' review.
Bourne embarks on a journey to fetch the punisher's wife, who absconded with the fresh prince of Troy.
Meanwhile Bourne's wife, Catwoman, has her dining hall overflowing with a bunch of thirsty incels, hungry to get out of the foodzone.
Sparkly Vampire Batman is the lead suitor.
He parks himself in Jason Bourne’s palace, drinks all the wine, mooches off Jason Bourne’s wife Catwoman, and spends every scene openly plotting to murder their son Spider-Man so he can take the throne and the queen.
Meanwhile Jason Bourne is out at sea doing Jason Bourne things: running, swimming, stabbing, forgetting who he is, remembering who he is, and accidentally sacrificing Elliot Page to the Trojans. Nolan then immediately sacrifices Elliot Page again, this time to the Critical Drinker and the discourse, while the rest of Bourne’s crew get methodically fed to every monster that eats people in classical literature.
Bourne’s itinerary is pure chaos. He stops on an island with Atomic Blonde and just does drugs and nookie for seven years while she offers him immortality and he cries about missing Catwoman.
He meets the witch who turns men into pigs and somehow only loses a couple of guys this time.
She turns the men back from pigs into men and says ''back to your disguise", which is very good for the modern audience.
Zendaya keeps appearing as the only mature adult in the story (of course), bailing Bourne out of every self-inflicted disaster while looking deeply unimpressed.
Then Lupita Nyong’o, who left the punisher for the fresh prince of Troy, shows up as both the face that launched a thousand ships and the sister who Red Sparrowed her narcissitic husband, Agmemnon, in bed.
She's the real mvp here.
Then she says "Look at me, I am the Black Widow now." ...but sadly also gets fed to the Critical Drinker.
Never seen so many people get fed to mythical monsters in one movie before man.
Nolan has some interesting fetishes going there.
Somewhere in the underworld, Bourne has a depressing chat with the ghost of Elliot Page again who has prepared a strongly worded HR letter about working conditions under Bourne and will not rest until another angry letter is delivered to sparkly vampire Batman.
Back home, Spider-Man is having the worst coming-of-age arc of his career.
He tries to go full Jon Wick to avenge the mistreatment of his dog and blind mechanic, but no pencils were available, so Cat Woman has to save him.
So the little guy spends his whole life just trying not to get murdered by Sparkly Vampire Batman and a house full of freeloading suitors while Catwoman weaves and unweaves the same tapestry for years while she waits for the return of Bourne. At many points like this in the movie, the viewer is given some time to have a nap without needing intermission, which is nice.
Eventually Jason Bourne limps home looking like he’s been through three Bourne movies and a Martian isolation, strings the bow nobody else can string, and turns the great hall into a bloodbath. But barely.
Dude got hit with a chair, an entire table, and a whole lot of cutlery. Then becomes a weapon rack and still survives because of the power of love.
He kills the black dude first, which confirms that Nolan intended this as a horror movie.
Sparkly Vampire Batman dies holding the strongly worded HR letter from Elliot Page, which is nice.
Spider-Man finally gets a dad who is present but his dad immediately leaves again cos he only came back for Catwoman.
Catwoman gets her depressed and mopy husband back and the quiet understanding that he will never fully explain the Atomic Blonde years of drugs and nookie.
Nolan shoots the whole thing in IMAX and pre-sells a gazillion expensive tickets to have the biggest release box office numbers without needing lots of people to watch it.
Well played Nolan, well played.

@Spicy_Rich I did this last year for Buidlmode. If you're looking for something with a 3D feel, I'm down. I use both Adobe after effects and blender 3D

In 2011, one family farm changed Bitcoin forever.
A pair of alpaca socks.
75 BTC.
That purchase became one of the most iconic moments in crypto history.
The legend is back.
