Everyone on the comments says this is horrible, they quit the game and uninstalled it, GOOD. All games that support GenAI in their games or media space should receive the same treatment. Support real artists guys.

And no, using twitter to post your opinion online, does not mean i "support AI", anyone who uses grok are brain dead morons. Also there is a big difference between AI and GenAI, especially things that existed long time before GenAI, like game npcs and translations.

Gacha players on twitter have become AI bros of gacha games. They hype up AI as being the best thing ever, so they can eat up slop. If those people continue pushing to normalizing (keyword) Generative AI in video games, i will never play gacha games ever again.

I know twitter is a place for insufferable people, but the amount of tweets i see with nte saying "AI in games are not bad" basically defending AI slop trash in games is really telling how apathetic these jackasses are. Continue speaking up AI "art" should have no place in games.

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions at the Glitch Productions booth during the LVL UP Expo. Recently, I made a video at their booth where I said the word “NEGA.” I did this to reference a clip of one of their voice actors, and I made the joke specifically because the word sounds like a racial slur. Looking back, I realize how incredibly poor my judgment was. Attempting to make a joke out of a word that sounds like a slur is insensitive, offensive, and completely unacceptable. Regardless of the reference I was trying to make, the impact of my words was harmful. I want to deeply apologize to the staff at the Glitch Productions booth, the team behind The Amazing Digital Circus, and any attendees or community members who heard me or saw the video. You deserve a safe, welcoming environment at conventions, and I brought unnecessary discomfort and negativity into that space. I take full responsibility for this mistake. I have deleted the video and am taking this as a serious learning experience. I promise to be far more mindful and respectful of my words and the people around me moving forward. I am truly sorry. Tips for Posting • Post it where the original video was shared: If you posted the video on Twitter, TikTok, or YouTube, make sure the apology is posted on that same platform so the relevant audience sees it. • Keep it text-based or a simple, unmonetized video: If you record a video apology, avoid using monetization, background music, or jump cuts, as these can make an apology feel less sincere. • Do not get defensive in the comments: People may still be upset after you post this. The best course of action is to let people express their frustration without arguing back.

Norway is moving to ban social media for children under the age of 16. The minority Labour government will introduce a bill to parliament by the end of 2026, technology companies would be legally required to put in place effective age verification measures to block access for users under 16. Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said the goal is to protect childhood: “We are introducing this legislation because we want a childhood where children get to be children. Play, friendships, and everyday life must not be taken over by algorithms and screens.”

I've just been made aware of this. This is absolutely an insensitive joke. Earlier in the stream, we heard Ashley read out a username that contained the word “Nega” (short for negative) and all of us, including chat, freaked out because we misheard what was said. Once the misunderstanding was cleared, we poked fun at the absurdity of it. However, the "joke" relies on the fact that it's "teetering on racist" - which ultimately is no different than making a legitimate racist joke. I apologize for any harm this has caused, and for the fact that we ever thought it humorous to joke about in the first place. Racism is NEVER okay and we should always strive to be kind and lift each other up.
