My 6 year old loves #chess and came to me a few months ago with an idea: What if pieces could regenerate to help you fight back? He sketched out the rules for "Regenerative Chess", a twist where captured back pieces can respawn when their counterpart is taken. We have been playing it for months, and it adds real strategic depth. Trades suddenly matter more, attacks have long term consequences, comebacks stay possible, and endgames get delightfully chaotic, all without breaking the feel of classic chess. 🚨 My phone was hacked today. 🚨 The attacker got into my phone via a SIM-swap, and started immediately attempting to gain access to any accounts secured by SMS 2FA. Apparently all an attacker needs to perform a SIM-swap is your real name, phone number, and email address.
