Congratulations @AustinArro84174 of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 on Your Commitment to @BJUBaseball Austin was our first ever West Iredell prospect, and we were glad to help him find the right fit for him athletically, academically, and spiritually. The @StateGamesNC Selection is going to fill a big need for Coach Morrison who has been seeking power bats in the 2026 Class. @BJUedu is an excellent academic institution located in Greenville, SC; it's also the only College Baseball program in beautiful Greenville. They offer over 100 degrees and is a great fit for families seeking a Christian Conservative culture. @HendersonCaleb2 @WIHS_Football

This ALMOST happened in a World Series game…the most important games of their lives. Yet somehow this happens EVERY weekend in youth/HS baseball tournaments because coaches think it’s normal to roll kids out there like Yamamoto in a World Series game. Please help @Pitchsafe_co

Those Unorthodox moves come into play with discussing 2027 @Lane_Sharpe2 of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 on the Bump. I encourage him to keep embracing the "Hideo Nomo" in his Balance Point. Turning his back to the batter while staying balanced can be a deceptive weapon. FB was 74-77, 78; whippy. Takes spin of the CH, w/ HB. If he keeps the ball down, he'll be effective. As the Velo rises, the overall deception will become more effective

2027 Xavier Glaspy of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 is a very raw prospect, yet a very good athlete. Worked out at C and 3B on 8/16 at @ForestCityOwls His best tool is his bat as he flashed several high 8's EVs, topping at 90 during BP. Wide set up, grounded, athletic swing, bat speed. Seems to have a knack for finding the barrel. Considers himself a primary RH Hitter, but said he's starting to Switch hit. Didn't generate the same pop LH, but was still short to the ball and consistent High motor behind the dish, but still needs to clean up some of his receiving and blocking movements. Release on his throws are quick due to fast transfers, but his short arm action is causing his throws to tail a bit. Athletic enough to stay behind the dish, but needs refinement. Needs to work on choosing better hops and creating better rhythm at 3B. Overall, I think his bat will play. Seems determined. JUCO Route Prospect. @HendersonCaleb2
