@dadbegg Need to get him in soon, however even if/ when we sack manager director of football and new manager will have squad that doesn’t seem up to it. Apart from shinnie and devlin no real leaders . Relegation is a worry unless a big change

@Hendes2 Certainly the analytic approach is working for others, eg Hearts, so hopefully the new Director of Football can change the model. It’s all very well having project players, but if you get relegated they will be gone too, so a change of approach is needed.

How on earth does Jimmy think Nilsen is the answer? If the manager can’t see that, there is little hope until there is a change at the top? #Dons

Obviously a benefactor of the format of the season, but Jimmy Thelin is the first Aberdeen manager to win their first four matches since Billy McNeill in 1977. No one has yet managed to win their first five.

@stewartfisher Starting to think the same though I know it’s unlikely. No other experienced Scottish manager out there and anybody decent from abroad would likely be out with our budget and I don’t think we can gamble again. Ok last couple of seasons poorer but he was starved of funds .

I think it’s time to admit that Derek McInnes should return to Aberdeen. He’s probably the best manager in the league right now and pound for pound achieves more with his budget than any other manager. Know folk won’t agree but that’s now my position on our manager.

@jaymoir_ And that is the difference between this lot and the play off team of 95. They did have fight in the end and got the fans behind them . Not convinced that will happen this year if it comes to a play off

As it stands we are on a league run of five draws & now four defeats since beating Ross County in early January. I could just about take the losses at Rangers, Hearts, & Kilmarnock. But a home loss to one of our relegation rivals is beyond unacceptable. We are a club in crisis.

@dadbegg Strange to have started with that team in first place. This season looks to be heading for a write off which given the money spent is very poor.

Well, it is a point. The damage was done early, but, having got it horribly wrong, at least #Warnock moved and rescued what was heading for a total horror show, whereas suspect #Robson would have been as stubborn as ever. #Dons #babysteps
