@JonesOnTheNBA 100%. As an old dog I see this stuff on socials all the time. It feels desperate and the only thing that vibes with anyone seems to be the old classics, so what does that say? That’s not talking bad of new innovation from other brands. I just mean Jordan, Nike, Reebok, etc.

Today is an impossible day. This afternoon Huck crossed the rainbow bridge. After beating a brain tumor in 2022, his seizures returned this week and we had to make a choice: change his medications again which might have bad side effects and lose him a piece at a time, or say good bye on our own terms. He’d already lost some ability to get around this week. Huck had a nice day, he kissed his boys before they went to school, laid on the couch, meandered around his yard, laid in the sun, and ate all the treats. We said goodbye in our backyard, with Parker, Mary and I telling him know how loved he is, and always will be. There’s so much I want to say about this wonderful dog but I’m so very heartbroken right now. I am tired of always having someone to grieve. I’ll share more photos later. I want to remember him always. We did right by our dog but I miss him so much already.

If there’s one absolute certainty every AFL season, it’s that the first 2-3 weeks will always produce some of the shittest takes you’ll ever hear in any sports media space. 🤣

@jose3030 I flew back from DFW to Melbourne about 3 weeks ago and we were informed whilst on the tarmac that we weren’t able to fly over Mexican air space… so we took off west towards LA before heading south west towards home. Pretty weird feeling.
