I used to stay with my aunt half the week while she needed the care and right up to the end when she had cancer. Every mealtime she would insist we clink glasses… just found this old pic of us and sure enough… 😂

4weeks on from Lew’s stroke he has been discharged from the hospital occupational therapists into the care of the community ones starting next week. Pleased with progress so far. He’s tough when I asked how he felt he said shit happens mum and I need to get well..he’s just ace❤️x

@HenninghamDavid Madness, was going to go in a cafe the other day (sign said cash only). Trying to find a cashpoint when there are no banks isn't the easiest.

@cranston65 So sad, Ian. I really feel for the elderly as so many of them don’t do online banking. We’ve only got a post office, too.

@HenninghamDavid Same in towns all over Northern Ireland - in my home town of Holywood there used to be 3 banks and at least 1 building society - now there's just the post office - my mum was in her late 80s and couldn't comprehend how people did any banking - she also didn't do online banking

My wife is in the hospital for breast cancer surgery. She has it in both breasts. Her prognosis is good since they caught it early, but cancer is still cancer. If you have a prayer to spare, aim it at Kim.
