Hmm Sha it depends, I had a friend who always talk less of me all in the name of his telling me the truth, guy there are so many ways to communicate the truth to someone without hurting them, I ended that friendship got better with myself and stayed away from him. Few months ago he saw me we started having conversations, now he noticed I've gotten so better with myself, instead of him to applaud that he said, it seems I now know too much, I ghosted him again. Finally guess who wants us to date?, guy I'm not interested. There is difference between an emotional intelligent person and rudeness.

When people say coming out of poverty, it entails a lot, one is discipline to say no & stick to no, the other is knowledge to know when to jump in and when not to

lol… you know I tried doing this right and God made me remember when I was about 13 years old, I was terribly ill that my aunts brought out all savings and and grandma resigned from a nanny job just to take care of me cos my mum passed on few years after my birth. I survived the illness, I went to school, I’m working and also have side things I work on to earn and support the family. They could have followed your theory and today I would have been a news. Our realities are different. There is such a thing like it’s too late too help. What I will say is that don’t do more than yourself when it’s not life threatening and pray you are not in that position to choose what vs who to save.
