Lenny Henry demands Britain cough up £18 trillion in reparations, insisting “All Black British people deserve it for slavery.” This ignores Britain’s historic stand: abolishing the slave trade in 1807 and unleashing the Royal Navy’s West Africa Squadron, which seized 1,600 ships and freed 150,000 Africans at massive cost in blood and treasure. Yet today, per the Global Slavery Index, Eritrea, Mauritania, Nigeria, and Jamaica (Henry’s parental homeland) still suffer shocking levels of modern slavery. Billing today’s British taxpayers for 200-year-old sins while turning a blind eye to ongoing African and Caribbean horrors? Pure selective outrage and hypocrisy. Focus on ending slavery now, not chasing guilt cheques. Maybe the comedian should stick to jokes instead of peddling selective history.

Winterfell is not even close to the strongest castle in Westeros.
People love it because emotionally it feels untouchable.
But strategically? The Eyrie is far worse to attack.
One narrow mountain path.
Natural elevation.
Limited access points.
And winters that can kill armies before battle even starts.
Meanwhile Winterfell got taken multiple times in the story.
I’m certain if dragons didn’t exist, the Eyrie might be almost impossible to conquer directly.
There’s a reason even Tywin Lannister preferred politics over trying to storm it.

The budget for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” was $100 million per year. It had a full time staff of 200 people, and was reaching just 2.7 million viewers on an average night during the show’s final quarter on the air.
Colbert was the most-watched late night host. Jimmy Kimmel has a linear audience of 2 million, while Jimmy Fallon draws about 1.3 million. Jon Stewart on The Daily Show reaches 900k to 1 million, which more than doubles the 400k that watched when Trevor Noah was the host.
Kimmel earns $16 million, Fallon earns $16 million, and Stewart makes $25 million. They had to pay him that to salvage the show after Noah, who was earning $16 million per year, lost more than two-thirds of his audience.
None of the math for any of these shows works.

Seems fair. Michigan State football has been awful lately and sadly lives in the shadow of Michigan/Ohio State/Notre Dame even when good.
Add in Basketball (an elite program) but being so close to Izzo's second Natty so many times & not winning is painful + Mich just won.

My whole point about HS and club soccer in the US is that they need to work together as opposed to club soccer making HS soccer the enemy and scapegoat.
