Renewables alone will not win the day. We have to step up tax on greenhouse gas emissions, as advocated by almost every economist and @TheGreenParty .

But the graph here shows the trend in China is rising CO2 with fluctuations; trending up but some Qs down. The important story is that the climate benefits of rising clean energy are being undone by the demand growth it enables. (Rebound). It’s the same globally.

@HenryGentGreen I would like to thank you for helping to make sure the street lights along the pathway by @WestclystCPS were fixed. It looked like a pretty major job, so I guess it wasn't easy to get sorted. The whole pathway is now lit up & is a safer place to walk at night. 👍

@DevonCC Is there a reason why the street lights are never working along the pathway in #Westclyst? The path runs alongside @WestclystCPS & the new care home, in the evenings this path is pitch black which is unsafe & dangerous for people. Can we fix them please? @HenryGentGreen

I don't think blocking roads is the best response, but the frustration is that democracy is failing. We need to tax fossil fuels and emissions and build a sustainable world, and only the Greens put this front and centre. Well done local member @HughFW . join.greenparty.org.uk
