We must defend UK democracy from Russian interference and the wider web of dirty money and misinformation which enables bad actors to undermine trust in politics. The Elections Bill is crucial in addressing this - the govt must not delay it any further.

So the 20:46 A bus eventually turned up despite the app and bus stop digital display screen saying it was cancelled. How are we meant to rely on Stagecoach in Exeter?

@StagecoachSW So, 20:46 A bus from High Street Exeter to Alphington is cancelled. B bus also cancelled. How do you expect me to get home? You barely run and evening service as it is. With cancellations it's non existent. You are a disgrace. Will you pay for a taxi?

@StagecoachSW why no A bus tonight in Exeter? (21:50 Fore Street) With literally only ONE bus on the route at night when it's not operating passengers are left stranded. Your night-time service is not fit for purpose. Disgraceful.

As Gaie's MP I tried everything I could to challenge this decision to send her back to prison - including writing to the prisons minister Lord Timpson and the probation service. Why on earth is this government releasing violent criminals early due to prison overcrowding, but then replacing them with a 77-year-old peaceful climate protester who is clearly no threat to the public? And why is she facing this extra punishment of being locked up, for longer than she was meant to be, and over Christmas? Not because she's broken her bail conditions, oh no no, it's because the private company responsible for fitting electronic tags couldn't find one the right size for her, and the authorities weren't willing to consider alternatives like daily check-ins at the police station. Do we think that, perhaps, this government might be getting its priorities wrong?
