Not just 1, but 2 brain surgeries within 2 years to remove what is considered a very large/giant pituitary tumour (just a little smaller than a golf ball).
It's been roughly 2 months since my last procedure (25th March of this year, first one being in Feb 2025) and although I still feel shitty and tired from recovering and being on different drugs. I'm starting to understand what being 'normal' should feel like.
It's weird to say and maybe a little psychotic, but I'm kind of glad I went through this experience. To the endless blood tests and drugs, to seeing specialists every so often, to staying in the ICU and ward and experiencing the worst thoughts a human could possibly imagine.
It just reinforces my beliefs on who I am. A person who undoubtedly never gives up and will keep persisting through adversity and struggle.
