No, you cannot compare raw numbers like this. Generally speaking, the selection bias into the group of people who vote early creates much more predictive error than the selection bias into the group of people who answer polls (after weighting adjustments etc are made).

@admcrlsn When polls, for the most part, have been pretty flat over the last few weeks and your model has wild swings like this something is probably pretty wrong with it!

It’s very funny that in the Silver Bulletin model Trump going from having a 51.0% chance of winning the Electoral College yesterday to 48.6% today is not a meaningful statistical shift, but it will cause an absolute meltdown among many of those clinging to this forecast for hope.

@NielsHoven The mouths are too big and the teeth are off-putting. It also doesn’t look like a cohesive color palette, and the horse looks oddly sexualized. The sheep is your strongest design, it reminds me of Zootopia.
