Her excuses get more indefensible, she claims she didn’t know about the Camper van, does sturgeon expect us all to believe that from the time they two were together, married, not once did they ever visit his Mother, who’s house the camper van was parked outside that house ? 12 Years he had been thieving the funds money !

I would absolutely not notice if my husband spent almost £9,000 on four high-end coffee machines for our home. No, sirree.

@eNeecie Every other day a new motorhome appears in my mother-in-law's drive and Neil hands me another bucket full of jewellery and cosmetics. I can only assume he's got himself a part time job I'm too busy to ask about.

Today has been funny, but it’s not. That woman ran a horrible divisive regime that upset Scotland for years. It still lingers. She’s down in London at the moment posting pics of herself in the sunshine. She’s a disgrace.

@Mr_Andrew_Fox Why do you hate Arsenal and why do you think Arsenal is so widely hated?

Villa will always have Moseley Shoals and Ocean Colour Scene at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre in 1996 (I was there) but this must be the same for Arsenal fans. I hate Arsenal and even I thought this was spine-tingling.

Dear fellow people who can speak other languages: is it pretentious to pronounce foreign words right? Like, I don't want to say 'Van goff' or 'Van Go' for Van Gogh, because that's not how it's said but do I sound a dick if I say Fon Hockh with the throat sound?

@J1603Kevin @afneil No, the council houses sold were like winning the lottery if you had the right address. You could buy a three story house in Camden for 35k now worth over a million. It was vastly over discounted and unfairly so for the rest of the market

Nice to hear from you, Andy. Thanks for the by election. We live for such things. I’m in no doubt life is tough for lots of folk in Makerfield. But it’s hardly a poster child for urban squalor/deprivation. Thatcher left power in 1990. She was followed by seven years of unThatcher Major and 13 years of Labour government, of which you were a part. So it’s quite a stretch to blame her for any continuing woes. Unless we blame Labour for failing to put anything right. On the other hand the houses you were walking past were bought by the tenants under Thatcher’s right to buy scheme, which has given them some pride in place and some wealth they once could only have dreamt of accumulating. I assume your pledge to ‘renationalise housing’ does not include taking these homes back into public ownership ... even if that would constitute a proper, radical reversal of the Thatcherism you’re (some what bizarrely) campaigning against.
Andy Burnham@AndyBurnhamGM

@afneil You need to get out of London, Andrew. You’ve clearly got no idea how much people here are struggling. And, yes, a lot of it can be traced back to Margaret Thatcher.

@J1603Kevin @afneil It was the problem - they were overly discounted to the detriment of future tenants. People on low income are priced out of the crazy housing market and have been for the last 10/15 years

@afneil 'Right to buy' was indeed the greatest economic tragedy of the Thatcher era. Yes council tenants should have been incentivised to buy a house of their own, but not a single council house should have been sold off BEFORE an equivalent property was added to the council stock.

@DreyfusJames Are you actually comparing a disgustingly misogynistic comedian, who debases and humiliates women, to lesbians being forced to allow men into our spaces? Seriously?

Re: my earlier RT about the cancellation of Roy “Chubby” Brown’s show. Lest we forget, the comedy trio ‘The League of Gentlemen’ named the town of Royston Vasey after him, & he featured in a few episodes of the same show back in 2000. He was already known & much celebrated as a “blue” comedian by then. Obviously not to everyone’s taste, but that is surely the point? Humour is subjective. What scratches one person’s back won’t do the same for another. But there HAS to be CHOICE. And the lack of CHOICE, due to cowardice, capitulation & cancel culture, is disappearing at an alarming pace. And this is happening in every single area of our lives. Eg. lesbians having NO choice but to include men in their spaces. We used to have a vast array of choice. Today, it’s one way or the highway. The good news is that a rather marvellous pushback is already underway. Purists, be very careful what you wish for…

@ABridgen "People from different backgrounds coming together for a common purpose" is exactly what this was. That being said, holding this march on Nakba day was ill advised because there are many 'people from different backgrounds' who abhor the actions of murderous Zionists in Gaza

GB News report the truth about yesterdays Unite the Kingdom Rally. The numbers attending, who they are and why they were there. Starmer’s smear is shown as the lie it was. Labelling us as ‘far right’. That’s why I have attended every rally, the people are always amazing.
