I emphasised that through our renewable energy masterplan, energy transition framework, government goes solar initiative and mini grid projects for hard to reach island communities, among several others, government is on course to reach 10% renewable energy generation in our energy mix by 2030. At this year’s Future of Energy Conference in Accra, I highlighted government’s determination to balance sustainable production of oil and gas with the urgent need to increase our renewable energy generation. (1/3)

I joined President Akufo-Addo to break ground for the commencement of the Petroleum Hub project at Jomoro in the Western Region. The Jomoro Petroleum Hub when completed will position Ghana as a leading integrated petroleum and petrochemical complex on the continent. (1/2)
