Horky new year! May we all keep the honkin’ spirit alive in 2023 by being kind to ourselves and caring for our communities. Now that Herc is one with the universe he can absolutely hear any unkind things you say to yourself, so please don’t make him sad with all that.

I haven't been posting a ton of soccer stuff recently. Honestly, I haven't been online or on twitter much since November. I started volunteering with my local humane society to start the new year, and have been enjoying life offline. I recently brought home my buddy Hercules as part of the humane societies foster to adopt program. He is a 2yo English Mastiff mix who is such a gentleman. He was doing really poorly at the shelter because he was taken in as a stray. Herc is hyper reactive to other animals, but absolutely adores people. Because of his size (105lbs of all mussels and still underweight) he was a difficult dog to care for and find a good home to place him. I immediately fell in love with Herc and took him home about 2 weeks ago. Just wanted to let you all know I am still doing well and why I have been less active when it comes to posting soccer stuff. It’s the end of an era. Just six months after Mean Cat Brother died, Nice Cat Brother Jimmy died very suddenly on Friday evening. We’re devastated. Let’s imagine he’s back with the love of his life and Herc, whose attention he always thrilled in

my latest effort in being the kind of person herc would want me to: this evening i went to a free @StopTheBleed training at a local library so that i can be better equipped to help people in emergencies. anyone can do this!! and we got a cool free kit with the basic tools!

Sometimes I feel really weird and stupid for still grieving a cat 3 years later. But he was so special to me and losing him was one of the hardest things in my adult life.

Today is the 3 year anniversary of my best friend Timmy’s passing. I miss him so very much all the time still. Please give your pets an extra hug and a treat from me tonight.

Today is sad for mine family: we said goodbye to Uncle Oskar, who was a good good boy. We will all miss him very very much but mine mom has extra sads becos they were best frens for a very long time, before she ever met me or dad! Ancient histories!!

Just had a leaflet through the door from our local independent candidate whose entire manifesto is about banning abortion. 30 mins annotating with a red pen and it's getting popped back through his letterbox tonight. Absolute ghoul.
