Ideal meetings have a flow to them. They start on time and are well facilitated. People feel welcomed, included and able to make their point. There’s a healthy discussion and actions are agreed. Right?

Well that day didn’t go as planned. Three hour round trip and pickup of Dad’s Motability car turned into a ten hour day including two hours with him lying on the wet pavement outside the dealership waiting for an ambulance. He has a broken hip, surgery tomorrow.
