As embarrassing as spygate is for #saintsfc, IMO the way Boro have conducted themselves is also pathetic.
Boro should submit their evidence and let the commission decide fairly instead of leaking unfounded rumours to the press to pressure them into giving a decision they like.

Last season, Southampton only managed 12 points from 38 games and were relegated with 7 games to spare. They broke the record for the earliest relegation in Premier League history and were the first team to go down in Europe’s top five leagues. I watched the first leg and Boro should have blitzed Southampton. Was the spy's message to try to let Boro have a headstart? It's naughty and it should be punished, but kicking a team out of the playoffs after a two-legged game that went to extra time, by the way, is absurd.

I've literally got Boro fans trying to argue that Boro mean Southampton should be thrown out but DO NOT mean Boro should play in the final. I am happy to accept I jumped to a wrong impression and that Boro believe someone else should play in the final instead 🤪
