@BenGrahamUK The egg is a pagan pre-christian symbol, you wont find it in the Bible anywhere. As for the famously devout Quaker Cadbury family, they are selling chocolate not religion.

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

This was a dreadful and sleepless night in Ukraine. At least four killed and many injured people in the Kyiv region. Russia unleashed a massive barrage of dozens of ballistic missiles and hundreds of drones targeting civilian people and infrastructure. Many regions across Ukraine saw Russian strikes overnight, including Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolayiv. Every explosion that shook Ukraine overnight is a direct result of Russia’s sense of impunity. Russia refuses to end the war. Instead, it continues aggression against Ukraine and supports the spread of Iran’s terror in the Middle East. In response to such actions, Moscow should not get any relief from international pressure or isolation. Appeasement never brought peace. It can only lead to the expansion of terror and war. Ukraine’s position has been and remains clear: all forms of pressure on Russia must be increased in order to counter the spread of terror in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions. The sooner we deprive the Russian war machine of its fuel, the sooner the war will end, and the sooner Moscow will lose its ability to bolster other terror regimes, including the one in Tehran.

The responses to this are rather interesting… When I was in Silicon Valley, some of the top investors were already seeing a substantial AI backlash in localised concerns in the US that data centres were pushing up energy prices… openly framing AI outputs as a privatised human intelligence to be sold back to mankind on a metered basis seems rather bold:

@LeeHarris It’s difficult to imagine a bigger hypocrite in British political history than Starmer . In opposition his almost daily calls for sackings and resignations of Conservative ministers and PMs over corruption nepotism money for mates his pious holier than thou moralising .Remember ?

It is, very clearly, a resignation matter. Equally it’s clear that he will not resign. In the deepest part of his hypocritical, legalistic, blame-shifting soul, Starmer genuinely thinks that saying “I take responsibility” is the same thing as taking responsibility.

Starmer forced the last Prime Minister to resign over a slice of cake. Yet he thinks a simple “sorry” will suffice for the gross misjudgement of appointing Mandelson as ambassador to the United States. No integrity. No honour. And absolutely no self-awareness.

Ukraine has now provided more military aid to the U.S. this year than the U.S. has provided to Ukraine.
