Rather than appreciate the result or enjoy the process, I can't help but observe how parts of the work will result in obstruction in certain imagined scenarios. It's a real trap. I occasionally try to force myself through this mood-killer but I can't say I've been successful.

I live in a world where qualities like flexibility, open-ended scoping etc. are captured. When I try my hand on VFX, the more I actually do, the more I narrow it down, the more flexibility I lose. I conditioned myself to dislike that.

Tangentially related. As someone who makes tools for a living, I thrive when they show tangible potential for making games. Whenever I want to actually make games, the effort required for individual mechanics or art pieces turns me off.

@lala_larou Mit so einem Nettogehalt kann man übliche Kosten ohne Probleme bezahlen und muss sich keine Sorgen machen. Kleidung, Möbel, Urlaub, alles kein Problem. Was nicht ohne weiteres drin ist: teures Auto oder normale Wohnung/Haus. Reich wird man mit so einem Gehalt wirklich nicht.

Bf und ich haben zusammen nicht mal so viel netto. Was haben manche Leute für ein Luxusleben wenn 4,6k nicht viel sein soll wtf 😳

Xenoblade Chronicles update: I can't believe I finally beat it after picking it up and putting it down close to 10 times over the years or half committing. I haven't felt so good about playing an RPG since I was a boy playing final fantasy for the first time. I didn't play it optimally, I did zero side quests, just went from point A to point B and had a marvelous time. Loved every single twist and turn the game provided. Terrific ending. I appreciate that I could have immersed myself more but was allowed to go at my pace that worked for me. I ended around 40 hours. I'm quite pleased. I recall last year's discussion about how expedition 33 was the "adult" game people were craving since final fantasy X or whatever and I have to just say that anyone who felt that way should simply play Xenoblade chronicles. As far as I'm concerned it is a triumph in every way. Look forward to a thoughts video and music discussion. I also intend to do a full OST listen and talk about it in detail with you all. 🥰 I'm so happy 🎉

@nuada266 @_kityounot Ich find das ganze aber auch dumm. Ich denke am Ende juckt das hier niemanden wirklich. Ich kann mir in Einzelfällen schon Missbrauch vorstellen, den gibt's aber auch heute schon in beiden Richtungen. Effektiv wird sich nicht viel ändern.

@nuada266 @_kityounot Das Problem ist dass Zustimmung im Normalfall nicht über sachliche Frage + Antwort erfolgt. Das ist unnatürlich. In dem "Nachher" Fall müsste der Mann also ggf. lügen, was er vorher nicht musste. Sie hat nicht "Ja" gesagt: niemand hat gefragt und beide haben gemacht.

Ich bin eine Frau und lehne dieses Gesetz ab. Die Folgen davon sind strafrechtliche Willkür auf der einen Seite, aber auch und vor allem eine Vertiefung des Grabens zwischen Männern und Frauen, in dem weiter Misstrauen gesät wird.

@NurderK @inesschwerdtner Der größte Teil am Preis sind die Steuern. Mit dem kleineren Anteil der an die Konzerne geht, werden außerdem Kosten gedeckt. Löhne, Steuern, Transport, Maschinerie etc. Inwiefern passt das mit der Aussage zusammen? Kann mir das jemand erklären der sie vertritt?

@minahito @pafuhana1213 Thank you for writing this. The PCG Editor Mode was a rush job on my part. For 5.8 there will likely be some improvements, although things are a bit complicated right now so no promises :)

I don't understand how our chancellor can shift blame when companies have extremely tight profit margins on a liter of gas while taxes on gas make up ~60% of the price. This can't be incompetence, it has to be malice

@ieatfilth Thankfully not that common yet, most Vindicta players I have seen so far are legit. But the 2 players that were obviously cheating were both on Vindicta

@HerrEdgy mainly because her 4th ability allows her to execute anyone low enough and that all of her abilities are centered around her gun fights, if you have 10 hours in assume any vindicta you meet to be a cheater watch the replay if you're not sure

What's with the very rare cheaters in Deadlock with aim + parry bot, playing Vindicta specifically? Just because she is a sniper?

@schwarzmaler20 @Fischtown1 @moi_violet Die Grafik ist richtig schön pervers. Obwohl die Zahlen ggf. nicht falsch sind werden die Steuern schön aufgeteilt aber "Kosten und Gewinn" in einen Topf geschmissen. Damit sich einfacher gegen die Firmen hetzen lässt die die Tankstellen betreiben.

@Fischtown1 @moi_violet An den überbordenden Steuern und Abgaben. Der Staat greift sich 81 Cent Energiesteuer und CO₂-Abgabe, darauf zahlen wir noch 19 Prozent Mehrwertsteuer. Die BÖSEN Energiekonzerne dürften etwa mit 20 Cent Gewinn auf den Liter Benzin rechnen.
