@Herr_kutt Hi there, that area has had a few outages in recent weeks due to various reasons including weather, a motor vehicle accident, animal contacts, and now a tree on the line. You can read more about outages, causes & our work to improve reliability at enovapower.com/outages
Power has been restored to all but 72 customers in Stanley Park. The cause of the outage was a large tree on a line. Crews continue to work to get the remaining customers back on. Thank you for your patience, everyone.

@cpearson76@CSLPlasma In Canada we are allowed to donate and encouraged to do so :) I’ve gone several times and am due for another round. Weird that there are such different rules for what should be scientifically the same.
Congrats to Chamberlain for making every single person who owns a MyQ garage door opener never want to be your customer again. fuck you! theverge.com/23949612/chamb…
RIP - my dusty old Pi-hole with display screen finally bit the dust after 3-4 years. I replaced it today with a Docker container running Pi-hole on my Synology NAS, and this Pi 3 will be repurposed elsewhere.
New pump selection is coming next month. My team suggest either the T-Slim or the Omnipod 5 - currently using an older Omnipod - as these will work with the #Dexcom6 to make a closed-loop system. I wondered if anyone had any experience of either? #GBDoc#doc
4️⃣ reasons why blood glucose testing strips should still be prescribed to #pwd using CGM:
- Sensor signal loss📶
- Sensor glucose lows ⬇️
- Severe sensor glucose highs ⬆️⬆️
- Sensor warm up
What other reasons can you think of? 🤔

@gracielaamarie I do. Been doing it for 15+ years and am averaging 60 units/day from my insulin pump.
It sucks but it’s better than the alternative. Diabetes is something you just have live with and not something to die from :)
@spoopycatt Call the front desk they may have a mini fridge they can put in. It’s happened to me before and they’ve helped out :)
However, most insulin will be good for ~30 days at room temperature.
