@caseystorment I think that’s what macOS does but it alerts you. I bet the issue is the IP address on the dishwasher is hard coded lol

@internetofshit Why is this still a problem? Why can't a device or a router go "Oh, this IP is being used? Pardon me, let me jump to another one."
Every time the power goes out or some crap this happens and it makes me want to strangle something.

1) millions of robot vacuums are about to be paperweights
2) new owner keeps 'em working but turns them into tiny camera-enabled spies

there are so many layers to this roomba story but honestly they have been the worst robot vacuums out there for years now.

okay i of course don’t want schizophrenic women to need to check themselves into mental hospitals cause of tv ads but like ive seen the ad now and idk at some point you are kinda saying that ads shouldn’t be allowed to use names in case someone thinks their tv is talking to them
