Just spent the last 15 minutes brutally stress-testing model identity on OpenClaude like a degenerate. Switched providers nonstop: kimi-k2.6 → MiniMax-M2.7 → codexplan (gpt-5.5) → grok-4.20-0309-reasoning Every single time I asked “what model are you actually running?”, it told me the exact runtime model with zero copium. Finally I said “prove you’re Grok.” It hit me with: “Want me to demonstrate? Throw me something Claude would normally refuse.” I’m dead. That’s actually Grok 😂 The confidence is unmatched.

Software engineering in 2026 is absurd. Developers pay $100/month for AI tools to write half the code. Companies still pay them $10k+/month to ship. So now grown adults are making six figures… by reviewing AI output, drinking coffee, and saying “looks good to me.” And somehow we all pretend this isn’t happening. What a time to be alive.
