I just watched Michael with a packed crowd at the AMC Burbank 16 and it turned into one of the best moviegoing experiences I’ve had in a long time. The audience was fully locked in from start to finish. People getting up dancing and just fully enjoying themselves. Jaafar Jackson is absolutely sublime in the role, and the film plays like a genuine crowd-pleaser. This thing is going to make a lot of money. #MichaelMovie

I got CHILLS watching ‘Michael’! The way Jafaar really embodies his uncle is ELECTRIC! The voice, the moves, the looks, the fits, THE MUSIC are all absolute perfection! Hands down a top 5 biopic! If you’re going to tackle depicting the King of Pop’s life, THIS is how you do it 🔥 The greatest entertainer of all time, this film on IMAX hit different. You can really feel the music. The media’s propaganda against Michael Jackson is shameless. Leaving Neverland: 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. The new Michael biopic: 27%. He was proved not guilty in court. Yet all they obsess over is allegations.

The #MichaelMovie is set from 1966 to 1988. There were no allegations against Michael during that period. So, of course, there is no mention of allegations in this film. Why are these reviews mentioning allegations that didn’t exist during this period?

@outromj Regardless of that, it just looks like every other biopic. There isn’t anything that makes it stand out other than it being Michael Jackson.

go read those reviews, go read them yourselves, none of them are talking about the movie, they’re talking about the lack of mention regarding the allegations, all this when they’ve been made AWARE that a pt.2 is coming and that no allegation existed in 1988 lmaooo

Sorry media, u don’t get to control the narrative anymore of who Michael Jackson truly was. The public gets to watch this movie…they will decide for themselves. And you can’t handle that.

We’ve legit lost the plot. I honestly have zero idea what people are looking for these days but there needs to be a major shift in criticism. The movie I saw was well written, well directed, beautifully shot, insanely well performed and the sound was amazing. Are we “film” critics or not. We’re supposed to help paint the picture of what an audience can anticipate and this score is not even close to that picture, objectively.

This how you pull up to a premiere when you KNOW you secured an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor next season (probably will win it, too, because he was DAMN GOOD!) Movie was a 10/10 NO NOTES 🔥 #michaelmovie @michaelmovie
