Hey Christians! I find it interesting the word HAMAS exists in both Hebrew and Arabic languages. I find the meanings of these words fascinating! In Hebrew, the word HAMAS is used over 60 times on the Old Testament. Hamas denotes violence, wrong, injustice, oppression, cruelty, robbery, unjust gain, falsehood, damage, unrighteous dealing - complete moral breakdown. Its first use describes the behavior of man immediately before the great flood that killed every human but Noah and his family. In Arabic, the word HAMAS zeal, strength, enthusiasm, or bravery. The Palestinian militant organization currently ruling in Gaza takes its name from Hamas. Hebrew and Arabic are related Semitic languages and the words share ancient roots, but evolved with different connotations. Hamas in Hebrew is centuries older. The Arabic definition evolved to be completely the opposite. Fascinating. What do you think Christians?

You can’t make it up. NBA player Jaden Ivey went on instagram and basically called the LGBT community sinful and was released. Miles Bridges beat his wife in front of his kids, and Josh Giddey had sex with a minor, and they are still starting on NBA teams. Explain this to me.

Hey Christians! If you’re an evangelical or Protestant believer, you’ve probably heard that Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24) was taken to heaven in bodily form at the age of 365. That’s probably not a correct interpretation of Scripture. According to Hebrew scholars, Enoch died prematurely while his contemporaries died well into their 900s. The reasons for this vary, but a common scholarly reason is that Enoch was double-minded and God took before he fell away. What messages have you heard concerning Enoch?

Absolutely not. Cultural and morality have been “politicized” and churches are too cowardly to confront them. Who we elect as leaders create the laws that define culture. They clearly have sinful platforms. Churches that ignore sin in elected officials and their policy positions, ignore sin in the people they are to lead.

Granted, Colorado losing the case is a huge win, but let's not forget that these cases kept Christians in fear of losing their livelihoods and businesses for years. There are secondary objectives almost as effective as the primary ones. What we need to do is evangelize Colorado and turn it red so this nonsense stops forever.

To be clear, this was a law that attempted to ban therapists from telling gender confused boys that they're actually boys, and girls that they're actually girls. It was literally a law prohibiting anyone in the therapy profession from verbally acknowledging biological reality to their clients. Easily one of the most psychotic pieces of legislation ever passed anywhere in the world at any time in history. The fact that Kentanji Jackson tried to uphold this law -- even as her fellow liberals broke ranks with her -- just proves again that she is the most unfit, unqualified, unhinged lunatic to ever hold a seat on the Supreme Court.

Hey Christians! Yesterday read about the first murder. God attributed Cain's sin to fact that he was not submitted or obedient to God. Today, we see the same pattern in Genesis 4:19-24. Lamech is Cain's 5th generation. He also was not submitted or obedient to God. He was the first polygamist marrying two wives. He killed a young man in an act of revenge. He rationalized and bragged about hi murderous behavior. Once we decide to follow our own way and reject God's moral code, our sins become more evil and our pride rationalizes even the taking of another life. Do you think sin leads to more sin and eventually murderous sin?

Hey Christians! In Genesis 4, we witness the first murder in human history. Cain, offended that his offering to the Lord is not acceptable, kills his brother out of jealousy. What the Lord tells Cain prior to the murder is a key point we should all heed... The Lord tells Cain, "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." When we are not fully submitted to the Lord, walking in obedience, sin comes. It entices us. It grabs us. Sin overtakes us. We sin... the most heinous sins. There's no sermon here folks. It's a choice. Humble ourselves and submit ourselves to God or commit grave sins. There's not really a middle ground here. What do you think?

100%! The first three chapters tell us who God is, who we are, how the world was created, and our purpose in it. I believe the young earth creation narrative btw. If God created Adam as a man and not a baby, He could surely create the world to appear older than it is.

Still the same. Gay marriage is not a thing. God created and defined marriage as one man and one woman. Culture and the legal system can't redefine something God Himself created. Hijacking a definition doesn't make it so. See also, men can't become women.

Today is Palm Sunday so I got up and went to church. Our beloved pastor of over 20 years retired a few months ago, so we have fill-ins until we find a new pastor. Today’s preacher du jour treated us to a left-wing political lecture. I’m absolutely livid. Had I not been sitting on the front row I would’ve gotten up and walked out. Leave it to liberals to ruin the first day of holy week.
