One thing I thank God for my life is that I have never been in a physical fight with anybody in my life. Obviously except normal siblings fighting each other as kids. I have always avoided it because I know a lot of walking corpse are looking for whose life to ruin, so I always avoid physical confrontation. Many young men are rotting in jail because of this today. As a man, always do your best to avoid fighting. Only do so when necessary or your life is being threatened cause that cheap point you want to get by being the guy everybody hails for being strong isn't worth decades in prison. Life is too sweet to limit yourself in a box for the rest of your life. Control your anger or it shall bring you ruin.

A shocking case from Bengaluru shows how dangerous trading addiction can become. A man who was deeply involved in stock trading secretly took loans using his wife’s identity and left her with a debt of ₹93 lakh. Here’s what happened: The husband allegedly took control of his wife’s mobile phone. Without telling her, he downloaded multiple instant loan apps and applied for loans using her personal details. Since the OTPs and verification messages were coming to her phone, he could complete the loan process without raising suspicion. Over time, he took several loans from different apps and lenders. The money was reportedly used for stock market trading and to cover earlier trading losses. The wife had no idea about these loans. She only found out when recovery agents started calling and messaging her, demanding repayment of the loans taken in her name. By that time, the total debt had reached around ₹93 lakh. Shocked by this, she filed a police complaint in Bengaluru. Police say the husband misused her phone and personal details to take loans without her consent. The case is now under investigation. This incident also highlights a bigger problem in India: • Easy access to instant loan apps • Misuse of someone’s identity and phone • Trading addiction leading to financial disasters One wrong decision in the market can destroy not just money, but also trust and relationships.

Hello all, It is tough to write this, but it is time to sunset the Permaweb Journal. Over the course of three years, it has been a pleasure to have the chance to work with and meet lots of great people, see many new places, and learn a lot about novel tech. Just a few years ago I would not have expected to work in crypto, nor to create a technical journal. This started off as a part time gig in university to put out some tweets and write docs for incubated projects, then last year I got the chance to create an online and print publication to introduce a new audience to this small corner of the web. The journal was an experiment in bringing together new types of content, media forms, thinkers, and writers. Coming from a non-crypto background, I was always interested in how I could weave in new perspectives to better understand this new technology. That is what we attempted to do with the journal. To be a bridge from non-technical to technical, from the online to offline. The journal did not succeed, but I still believe that telling stories and building with a focus on the exploration and celebration of humanity in our ever-connected world is very important. So I want to thank Sam and the rest of the Forward Research team for giving me a shot at putting together this creative project. And to the contributors, readers, and supporters, I thank you for all of the support. And to the owners of the print and readers of the digital, you are still early to something special. You own a piece of permaweb history. The time was not right, but I hope someday the work put out in the journal will resonate with someone.
