The MacBook Neo is kind of like the iPhone mini. The same folks praising it all over social media are the ones who would never trade in their Pro for it. It’s clearly the best $600 laptop on the market - but few are going to switch away from the high-end. It’s about new buyers.

I will always travel with my 16-inch MacBook Pro, but for a secondary laptop (always bring one) I usually like thin and light Thinking that'll be a Dell XPS or MacBook Neo, tried a MacBook Air but it was so close to the Pro I was like... might as well do a Pro if I have it

Only with Apple is the new MacBook Pro lasting an extra 26 minutes - after a year and a half - considered an “astonishing” upgrade.

I received an official statement from Samsung, which states: “Galaxy S26 series uses 8-bit display panel. It features the new customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset which offers up to 4x the image processing power for improved viewing.”

@MKBHD $100 to get 2x the storage doesn't sound that bad to me on the M5 Air tbf.

Apple doing the same thing as S26 phones from Samsung - higher base prices, but also higher base storage Macbook Air goes from $999 to $1099 but also starts at 512GB instead of 256GB Macbook Pro (M5 Pro) goes from $1999 to $2199 but now starts at 1TB instead of 512GB

@mweinbach There was also a time where windows decided to disable my speakers on an ROG laptop and had no idea what happened. Had to track down the drivers online smh. Shit like that shouldn’t be happening

I take back what I said about Windows after this Windows is broken. It shouldn’t break your trackpad randomly regardless of the reason. This should not even be possible.

Galaxy S26 Ultra? Anyone else here grab the Galaxy S26 Ultra (or one of its siblings)? And, more importantly, which color did you go for? I’m curious who jumped in and who’s sitting this round out (which I bet is a lot, tbh; phones have plateaued, I get it) I'm a big fan of the S25 Ultra. It was about as close to “nailed it” as Samsung gets. I bounce between it and the Fold 7 all the time. With Samsung offering a $900 trade‑in here in the US, plus a couple of stackable discounts (Perks at Work), mine came out to $331. At that price, resisting felt silly. (If it weren't for that trade-in, I'd likely sit this one out.) The new privacy screen tech looks cool (and useful), faster charging is always welcome, and the camera upgrades don’t hurt. I’ll even admit the Pixel‑style AI features like call screening have my attention. Finally, Sky Blue is the only correct answer this year, though I'll accept Cobalt Violet as a runner-up.
