@OvileeMay This makes you very human, I think it's funny and I probably would've been the same. I've followed Linkin Park for such a long time, but I would have never known that the person you were interviewing was in that band. I've never seen what any of them look like.

For the new people who find this clip, this is the end of about a 2-3 minute interview after speaking with actors, pro players, streamers, and a variety of people that were walking through. I was doing dances of champions to try to guess who he was as my last ditch effort before asking his name. I listened to Hybrid Theory on repeat in elementary school while playing soldier front on my laptop in the kitchen. I never saw the faces of any of the bad members. Only the album covers 😭

@TynanSylvester I think I understand what you're saying. I'm guessing here, but I think the point is that, in ideation, you architect the game mechanics to support the story, you can't just build a story game without first focusing on the mechanics which allow you to tell the story?

A game idea should be at least 90% mechanics and less than 10% story. Any more than 10% story is a red flag.

@TynanSylvester I feel like this is a good philosophy to the human condition. You find things that work and things that just don't(even if it seems like they should), sometimes you bend the rules into what they aren't supposed to be to make them work (epically, catastrophically, or both).

Sometimes it doesn't feel like creation at all. More like solving a puzzle; following a hidden path.

It's underappreciated how little freedom you have while designing a game. You can't just make what you want. You have to to make what works, and you don't get to choose that.

Just saw @Midjourney dropped v8 and I have thoughts. I was playing with the very first image generation tools in Python environments back when you needed a PhD to make them work. @AggroCrabGames I found a bug in the lobby room section of the peak map where if you are to equip and un-equip an item rapidly, with a roof above your head (like on top of the Photo Booth) then you can clip out of the map into many unreachable places (part one)
