According to court documents provided in support of AG Weiser’s suit against @HHSGov, Colorado Children’s Hospital TRUE Center admitted to providing 517 minors with puberty blockers and 1098 minors with wrong-sex hormones in 2024 and 2025 combined. CHC testified that the TRUE Center was visited by 1000-1200 unique patients each year. @MorrellMDmph

Enrollment in Colorado’s schools has steadily declined since 2019, while education spending on non-academic staff has skyrocketed. Colorado embraced the Whole Child model (WSCC) which has turned schools away from their academic missions and made them into hubs for social services such as mental health, Social Emotional Learning, School Based Health Centers, and food distribution centers. The Denver City Council proposed ordinance to lower jail sentences is promoted by an NGO which funds foreign terrorist organizations as well as the CCP-aligned The People's Forum. Alliance for Global Justice is the fiscal sponsor of the Colorado Freedom Fund, the organization with which Denver Council members Parady, Lewis, and Gonzales-Gutierrez have aligned. AFGJ donated nearly $1.5M to CFF in 2020 and is listed on the CFF website as the group's fiscal sponsor. AFGJ is funded by organizations such as the Tides Center and the Colorado Health Foundation.

Will Colorado Children’s Hospital resume giving puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones for minors? On Thursday, a federal judge ruled in favor of Colorado and 20 other states which had challenged the @HHSGov declaration that federal funds could be withheld from any medical facility providing puberty blockers, wrong-sex hormones, or sex-change surgeries to minors.

Dr. David Brumbaugh, a professor of pediatrics at CU Anschutz and CHC’s Chief Medical Officer testified that he disagrees with the Kennedy Declaration and that he “and CHC are proud of the TRUE center.”

The court documents cited specific examples in which the CHC TRUE Center treated gender dysphoric minors as young as six years old and previously provided puberty blockers to specific children ages 10 and 14. The CHC stated it is administering “gender affirming medication” to a minor which the family provides from an outside source. CHC stopped providing puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones to minors after the Kennedy Declaration. CHC is now being sued for violating the rights of “transgender” children in violation of Colorado’s Anti Discrimination Act (CADA) regulations.
