@HiTopFilms Missed the first 7 seconds of my showing, so I snuck into 2nd showing to see what I missed and ended up rewatching the whole thing. Tbh some of the editing choices are bizarre, especially with the Laestrygonians.

Definitely need to see odyssey again. enjoyed it but was so overstimulated by the fast cuts and scale that I smoked a couple cigs after and still didn’t understand how I felt emotionally.

@HiTopFilms All the new ones are trying to be like Re7 but without the Nakanishi sauce. They try to go back to what made the OG great, but it feels like they forgot what makes a great genera film... great.

New video tomorrow. But also saw a new franchise film series I love tonight and truly thought it was one of the most aggressively “mid” renditions I’ve witnessed.

Quality Assurance in Another World will be something you want to keep your eye on this season assuming it's not adapted like dog shit. Very good mix-up from the usual isekai slop. Probably not going to make a video on it, so I figured I wouldn't gatekeep :3
