21 Books 📚in ‘21 I’ve challenged myself to read 21 book this year because I enjoy reading but noticed as the years go by I read less. On average I purchase 8 books a year and borrow another 10 from the Brooklyn Public Library via Overdrive.

@MajestyRia Growing up my mom taught me there are house clothes, school clothes, church clothes and going out clothes I still apply this concept today.

Many of us are no longer in the church but I think we’d all agree that church taught us alot about there being a time & place for things, general etiquette & respecting our elders. You couldn’t do, wear, act however you wanted in church & imo, we applied that awareness in school.

Refining my first-day-of-school lesson script. My instruction will be explicit, but it will not be sit and get. It will be dialogic. I count 46 unique opportunities to respond through cold calling, choral response, turn and talk, mini whiteboards, checks for understanding, and attention checks. The amount of time students go without thinking and responding in some way throughout the lesson will be minimal. I’m using the first day to establish this as the instructional norm for the year. From the very beginning, students will experience, and clearly understand, the expectations for listening, attention, thinking, and active participation.

Big Pat is still the greatest Knick of all time followed closely by Walt and Willis Reed. Pat had to go head up with the GOAT many times and with the Dream who was one of the first big men surrounded by shooters style teams (Elie,Smith,Cassell etc). Ewing had nobody .

Was so nervous to post but this is my timeline for my body recomp journey 🏆 4 months in, 10lbs down. Cardio + weightlifting 4-5x a week since February and a decent diet lol.
