Today, High Marq students participated in @Gr8AppleCrunch while building fires and writing campfire stories as a throwback to the #writeout theme from 2020. 🍎

We are proud to have finally started the installation of our sensory garden here @MontelloSD247 🌺 Students designed a section of the garden for each of the 5 senses and chose appropriate plants & accessories while staying within a budget. Project funded by: @WisConservation

Students also presented about The History of Literature (Abigail), Disability Rights (Keira), Censorship of Media (Edan), and Mental Health (Eli)! Not to mention dozens of other project showcases. We're so glad they could share their learning in person! #HMworks #MontelloProud

High Marq has new classroom pets! A starter set of Dubia roaches, thanks to our friends at @DCS3rd! One of our high school students is going to care for them as part of a capstone project this year and next. #BugRadness 🪳

For the past two Field Days, High Marq students have been showing off their wilderness survival skills in our time-honored tradition of Survival Day. Teams build shelters, filtration systems, traps, and fires--and the more natural materials used, the better! #HMWorks
