The EYFS children this morning have been learning about the festival of Hanukkah and how latkes and donuts are traditionally eaten. Working together, the children made their own Latkes by grating potatoes, onions and eggs. We then tasted the latkes and donuts for our feast. #EYFS

@HighfieldNurs @HighfieldRecep @HighfieldYear2 were treated this morning to a wonderful puppet show about the story of Rama and Sita. After the children took part in a beautiful Rangoli workshop to celebrate Diwali. It was a beautifully colourful morning, thank you! #HappyDiwali

This week Preschool and Reception are learning more about recycling. Preschool really enjoyed putting the rubbish into the correct bin using their super fine motor skills on the computer. We are looking forward to many more activities throughout #BigRecyclingHunt2023

This week @HighfieldNurs and @HighfieldRecep had a wonderful morning at @PizzaExpress learning how to make 🍕!The children were taught how to flatten the dough, spread the sauce and add the toppings. We had so much fun and left with a tasty treat! Thank you!

@HighfieldRecep we have been reading the story, ‘Oliver’s Fruit salad’ and learning about fruit in our Topic lesson. Today we created our own fruit salad using a variety of delicious fruit. We carefully chopped up each fruit into smaller pieces, ready for us to eat! #yummyfruit
