I am so disappointed in @Highmark_BCBS . I have an aggressive lymphatic tumor in my back and am awaiting chemotherapy treatment. The only hold-up? @Highmark_BCBS won't approve my treatment. And so cancerous tumor in my back continues to enlarge while @Highmark_BCBS drags its feet

@Highmark_BCBS Beware of Highmark Blue Shield, Pittsburgh, PA. I had to change my Medicare AdvPlan in Dec. Highmark denies knowing what Medicare clearly states on the website — if a person is over 65 & retired the Advantage plan pays first over a secondary insurance.

@Highmark_BCBS we are upgrading to a better highmark plan. Called to cancel coverage after December for the old plan. Was told “that department is down” and it will be 2-3 business days for someone to call me back. Seriously?

@Highmark_BCBS my 92 year mother was functioning fine in assisted living. Admitted to hospital for pneumonia; Highmark has denied hospital’s request to discharge her to Physical Therapy facility. Stranded in the hospital for 6 days. Average time of response from HMark is 72 hrs.
