Ready Player Me was a good example of interoperable player avatars but they went to shit never really caught on.

Ideas spread from one project to another
And once you notice those connections
You stop looking at games individually

For this to be something that sticks and is industry standard I think we do need a way to port and move assets. I do hear you though.. complicated.

@HighoneTAG @cross_mw You really dont need an agreed-upon engine. I meant it much simpler. Take a skin on a FPS game and use that same skin on a ship in a space game. The dev determines how to use the NFT in their game.
Just a simple example.

So I have irregular gaming content cause I hardly find any game worth talking about in web3.
I don't feel like talking nicely about every new game every week, even if they are bad.
I want to support high-quality web3 games, but when I clicked play on it, the game crashed.
Now I'm stuck between following the crowd or producing less content and waiting for properly working, good-quality games.

I swear this "inevitable" sentence is the most overused phrase I have ever seen.
Look I believe in this gaming space as much as anyone, or else I wouldn't be here spending so much time on it.
Right now, there are no games in this space that outperforms their "web2" rival, there is no game where random normies show up.
The reality is that:
Web3 gaming keeps being marketed as an inevitability, but right now it’s still a concept searching for a breakout product.
What game for you, could make it so "inevitable"?

- They decided to end the Terminal season early
- W3 points were distributed normally
- Final snapshot of user activity has been taken
- An additional bonus points distribution will happen next week for active users exploring apps in the ecosystem
- Eligible participants will receive USDM rewards based on accumulated points and ecosystem-supporting activity
- Users will be able to submit a wallet address for rewards next week through Terminal
- Terminal’s core features will be merged into Rabbithole for a unified onchain experience

After reviewing the Terminal data, we’ve decided to conclude the season early, and sunset our Terminal program. The points distribution for Week 3 has gone out as normal and a snapshot has been taken of all user activity up to this point, which will be used in our final calculations. Next week, we'll run a supplemental points distribution to thank all users who have been exploring and experimenting with the different apps throughout the program.
