Duterte bloc (Paolo Duterte, Omar Duterte, and Harold Duterte in the picture) in the House of Representatives walks out during the voting for the Speakership with Martin Romualdez as nominee. Hindi talaga kaya ng mga Dutertes maging confrontational unless sila ang panalo or nasa itaas. Basta Duterte, duwag! 👊 #Halalan2025

“PRESIDENT RODRIGO R. DUTERTE ACT” READ: Senator Imee Marcos has filed a bill prohibiting the transfer of individuals in the Philippines to foreign entities not recognized under an active treaty, or without the person’s consent or a local court order. The bill also bans investigations, arrests, detentions, or any legal actions and assistance carried out on behalf of unrecognized foreign entities without permits from the Department of Justice and the Department of the Interior and Local Government. Violators may face up to 20 years in prison. Marcos says the measure aims to prevent future cases of “extraordinary rendition,” citing as an example the transfer of former President Rodrigo Duterte to the International Criminal Court | @eimorpsantos

PRRD locked up at the Hague is a ticking time bomb. And when the dreaded day arrives, the Marcoses would not know what hit them. There will be blood. And it will be all over them. They can try for generations upon generations, but they will never be forgiven. EVER.

‘MASAKIT SA DIBDIB’ Ito ang naramdaman ni Sen. Migz Zubiri matapos palutangin ng hindi niya pinangalanang indibidwal na buwagin na lang ang Senado kaugnay sa mga isyung ibinabato sa institusyon.

MMDA Inaugurates Another Motorcycle, Bicycle Repair Station on EDSA In a bid to provide convenience and free assistance in cases where emergency repairs require immediate action, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) today inaugurated another motorcycle and bicycle repair station on Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) for motorcycle riders and cyclists. Located at the ground level of EDSA Quezon Avenue flyover in Quezon City, the newly-improved facility, housed in a high-quality container van, is equipped with basic tools for minor repairs and vulcanizing. It is also manned by trained MMDA personnel who will help those whose bikes and motorcycles broke down on the road. MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes led the inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremonies of the agency’s Motorcycle and Bicycle Repair Station (MBRS). “Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s agenda for infrastructure development, the MMDA MBRS is part of several initiatives aimed at improving the infrastructure and safety measures for the growing number of motorcycle riders and bikers in Metro Manila,” said Artes. Artes further said, “The repair station serves as a temporary lay-by area for motorcycle riders and cyclists dealing with mechanical issues, adverse weather conditions, or other roadside emergencies, enhancing their safety and convenience while on the road.” Former MMDA Chairman Atty. Benhur Abalos is the brains behind the project, according to Artes. The repair station is open from 6am to 10pm daily. Currently, there are two existing MBRS in EDSA located at Ortigas-Robinsons Galleria and Quezon Avenue (in front of DILG). Apart from this, the MMDA Bike Lane Program Office has three repair stations stationed along Roxas Boulevard in Manila; Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City; and Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City. Artes revealed that the MMDA will soon roll out an additional MBRS on C5, Baclaran, Monumento, and Roxas Boulevard. Moreover, the MMDA chief advised riders and cyclists to practice road safety measures. Department of Transportation Undersecretary Mark Steven Pastor, who oversees the road and infrastructure sector, expressed support for the project. "We applaud the MMDA for this important initiative by pushing for active mobility and minimize disruptions to traffic flow," Pastor said. Other stakeholders present during the event are George Royeca, co-founder of Angkas; Ira Cruz of Grab Philippines; and Alyssa Belda of Make It Safer Movement (MISMO). #mmda #mmdaatyourservice
