All lanes are now open on the #M4 westbound near #Maidenhead between J8 and J10 following the recovery of a broken-down vehicle. Residual delays of under 10mins on the approach. Have a safe onward journey.

Delays of 30mins on the approach to #M4 J8 westbound near #Maidenhead due to a broken-down vehicle. Traffic was briefly held; this has now been released but a lane 1 closure remains in place.

@HighwaysEAST is there any update on the crash on the M25 clockwise between J27 and J28? Are the lanes open? Essex Echo is reporting the M25 is closed between those junctions. Thank you

Traffic is being held on the #A1 both directions between the #A151 #Stamford and the #A47 near #Peterborough due to a HGV on fire. @LincsFireRescue are leading at scene. There are long delays in excess of 60 minutes. Please allow extra time if you're travelling in the area.

@MaxParkin3 Hello, thank you for your message. I appreciate your frustration. An earlier HGV fire caused its load to spill, resulting in approximately 5000 glass bottles smashing and scattering across the carriageway. A sweeper is at scene now. Traffic caught within the closure is 1/2

Traffic has been released via lane 1 northbound on the #A1 between the #A47 #Peterborough and the #A151 #Stamford. Southbound carriageway remains closed as emergency services continue to work at scene. Delays exceed 60 minutes. Please allow extra travel time. More to follow.

@GladhandThrust Hi, thanks for your message. Unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated reopening time at the moment. A specialist sweeper has been called to the scene to assist with clearing the debris. Once the Police have confirmed that the area is safe, we will be able to reopen the road. 1/2
