My @VirginAustralia flight from Brisbane to Sydney got canceled and rebooked automatically from Friday night to Sunday. What kind of customer service is this? No compensation, accommodation or anything. I’ve been loyal to Virgin for years, reconsidering after this.

Don't think of a pink elephant. Your mind will focus exactly on the thing it was told not to. So if you're constantly worried about 'things going wrong' or 'not working out' then the chances of that becoming true increases. What you focus on, grows. So focus on success.

Good therapists use more ‘what’ than ‘why’ questions. For example, “what makes you feel that way” is received way better than “why do you feel that way?” Try using ‘what’ questions when you practice empathy.

My honest thoughts as a junior doc in the NHS (with prev exp in startups) — - Pay is (really) crap. - Conditions are worse. - Perks as non-existent. - Toxic culture. But, helping another human is satisfying. Now, clinical medicine isn’t the only way to help others. 👀
