@HimarsoClock @LibertyCappy Trump asked for it. Trump signed it. He owns it. If he were vetoing spending or even asking for cuts you'd have a point. He's asking for more every single year and he's getting it.

$SIVE and its investors kind of reminds me of another Swedish company named Intellego. Likewise, the investors in that company said things like ”are you sad you missed out” and ”look who’s winning” etc. The share price went from like 3 SEK to 210 SEK in a matter of months and a few months more the price went to zero. Thousands of investors lost every penny they invested. The red flags 🚩 were there, it was so obvious and we were many who pointed that out. Yet, the investors who saw their shares gain in value each and every day continued to believe that if the share price goes up then this must be the real deal (right?). The similarities between Sivers and Intellego are in fact many: 1) Management does not want to speak to the press 2) Large parts of management selling shares EXCEPT for the CEO who’s buying shares 3) Management making short-sighted and illegal decisions to further drive up the stock price. Intellego sent out false press releases about orders that didn’t exist while Sivers leak information to X/Twitter accounts about their US IPO - which in itself also can be considered a short-sighted decision to further push the stock price higher 4) There is a clear ”pack leader” for Intellego it was Hans Isoz for Sivers its Serenity 5) The growth everyone is speaking of is yet to show up on the cashflow sheet, still just ”orders” 6) They are a small Swedish firm with a stock price that has skyrocketed in a matter of months 7) It has become one of the most traded stocks in the Swedish stock market One clear difference is that Sivers probably has a decent product and actual customers. Problem is however that in order to be able to deliver they must expand their manufacturing capabilities rapidly. Such an expansion should not be considered an easy task. It requires a tremendous team, big investments, a bit of luck and it comes with severe risks. The examples are many where companies possess a great product but fail in its execution of expanding. And still, if Sivers were to execute in the most successful way possible, riding the waves of datacenter buildout, delivering massive orders, tackling huge US competitors - they are still (with optimistic estimates) trading somewhere around 4-5x on the estimated revenues for 2030.

I don't know how many times I have to post the same thing @ArthurLouvre Venezuelan oil is crappy tar. It's not the right stuff. Got it?

@aeberman12 Great interview, although I was hoping to hear if Venezuela (or other) would be able to make up adequate quantities of the right type of oil for US needs. Could it be that removing Maduro was part of preparation for a lengthy Iran war?

why are the UK and France blocking this? London and Paris have spent years telling us that the war in Ukraine is critical for European security. And they both present themselves as European NATO leaders. so what gives?
The Telegraph@Telegraph

Mark Rutte, Nato's secretary-general, has conceded his plan for Nato allies to spend 0.25 per cent of GDP on military aid for Ukraine wouldn’t be taken forward. The Telegraph can reveal that the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Canada blocked the idea. 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…

No, Trump isn’t “single-handedly responsible” for 27.7% of the debt. That’s just the raw total added *while he was president* (~$10.7T out of today’s ~$39T). Congress holds the purse (Article I). Most of his first-term spike was bipartisan COVID relief both parties voted for. Mandatory spending (SS, Medicare, interest) grows on autopilot no matter who’s in office. Debt is a 30-year, both-parties failure not one guy’s solo project.

Imagine starting a regime change war to end Iran’s nuclear & missile threat only to: - Keep IRGC in power - Give Iran control of Strait - Unfreeze $20 BILLION in assets - Allow Iran to keep ballistic missiles - Allow Iran to keep uranium It’s not a peace deal. It’s surrender.

@HimarsoClock @TheMaineWonk Not really. USA outguns Russia with conventional weapons but not with nukes. Russia has slight njmber advantage and a big territory advantage. They are known through history as a nation that loves to use scorched earth so it’s a bad idea to let them think they should pre-empt

@HimarsoClock @TheMaineWonk It doesn’t matter. The consequences would be the same, killing 1m or 20m of Iranians doesn’t matter Israel would still be exterminated. Using nukes is just not a smart thing to do. Not to mention that it would be a warning to Russia and China to use it pre-empt. in case of war
