The Phillies continue to be just the dumbest team in baseball when it comes to all of the fundamentals of the game. It's almost impressive how poor most of their understandings are re: things like base running, throwing to the cut off man, etc. Thomson will make endless excuses for them, though, so nothing will ever change.
