Our office is sooo excited to see the @hotelindigo near completion!! Built in 1911 and originally known as the Willard Hotel, the building has served as short term housing for its entire life. You can see BEFORE photos & learn more about the building here: historicspokane.org/wp-content/upl…

The sign is up on the new @hotelindigo in #Spokane’s old Otis Hotel. Makes me so happy to see a dilapidated property coming back to life.

#ThrowbackThursday: Cruising through Coeur d' Alene Park in the early 1900s. Did you know Coeur d' Alene Park is Spokane's first park? Donated by A.M. Cannon and J.J. Browne, the park was established in 1891. Photo courtesy of @spokanelibrary's Northwest Room.

It would also mean property owners have to consult the Spokane Historic Preservation Office and get board approval for any exterior renovations to their properties, including landscaping.
